Complete Control of the Tools
In order to define the tool the user can access, you can update permission levels per profile. Some of the management tools will give you the employee report files in whatever format you choose (daily, weekly, monthly). This file contains all the employees’ data and your personal profile. To be able to work with Meckano without any concerns, it’s important to know what security measures we take to maximally ensure the confidentiality of your data. Firstly, the site is protected and secured using SSL protocol, which is the gold standard for the world’s leading websites. The data is also automatically encrypted on the company’s servers.
Your Information is Important to Us
The system’s servers are maintained and monitored from the command center 24/7. The servers and systems that run on them at the Operating System level,
databases, web servers, email, load sharing systems, information security and firewall systems, and every component installed in the system so that
the applications can run with zero malfunctions and at full availability.
Security Core and Information Sharing
Meckano provides a flexible and secure framework that lets you share different data kits for different users.
The system administrator can easily create profiles, roles, and hierarchies that are enforced in the user interface.
Control Over Who Sees What
Using permission and information sharing management you can ensure the highest level of control for every interface in the system.
Biometric Use
Meckano has biometric time clocks made by silkId and sensor-based biometric recognition.
The clocks do not store the user’s fingerprint.
The fingerprint recognition technology in the 2 types of clocks is saved solely in the clock (internal memory) and is not relayed to the system’s servers.
Internal recognition of the user is done by measuring the distance between several points on the finger.
This technology is only relevant for these types of clocks.
If the data is pulled from the clock, this information cannot be used for the following reasons:
1. The employee is registered as a number and there is no additional identifying information about him in the clock.
2. The distance between the points is used only by the clock.
3. The distance between the points are encrypted.
For example: Employee 510 distance between point X to point Y is 19 mm.

The Meckano team will not, under any circumstances, ask you to send your password via email. The only times you will be required to provide our password are when logging in to the Meckano system or our website if you want to purchase something or make changes to your account.
Login will always be via a secure connection and we ask you to please check that the URL is exactly as follows: https//:app.meckano.co.il
Moreover, the URL should display an icon of a small lock that indicates a secure connection to the system.
Please be cautious of email messages that ask for information about your account. Beware of websites with strange addresses or ones that offer unofficial downloads of Meckano add-ins.
